چکیده

Abstract Background With the increasing concerns on energy shortage and carbon emission issues worldwide, sustainable recovery from thermal processes is consistently attracting extensive attention. Nowadays, a significant amount of usable wasted not recovered worldwide every year. Meanwhile, discharging often causes environmental hazards. Significant social ecological impacts will be achieved if waste can effectively harnessed reused. Hence, this study aims to provide comprehensive review processes, contributing achieving security, sustainability, low-carbon future. Main text To better understand development utilization, paper reviews sources current technologies, considering both heat cold energy. The main are prime movers, renewable energy, various industrial activities. Different technologies produce electricity, heating, cooling analyzed based types temperatures sources. typical purposes for utilization power generation, spacing cooling, domestic dehumidification, storage. In addition, performance different systems in multigeneration introduced. liquified natural gas (LNG) regasification process one popular LNG strategies combined power, air separation, cryogenic CO 2 capture, warehouse. Furthermore, existing challenges analyzed. Finally, potential prospects discussed greater insights future works utilization. Conclusions Novel materials advanced cycles key factors high-temperature Integrated with multiply products show application recovery. storage transportation essential contrast, low rate, efficiency, inadequate assessment obstacles systems.

Thermal Energy Recovery from Enhanced Geothermal Systems – Evaluating the Potential from Deep, High-temperature Resources

A variety of mechanical, chemical and thermal approaches to reservoir stimulation have been proposed and tested over more than three decades of research on Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS) technology, with the primary focus at present on enhancing fracture permeability by elevating fluid pressure sufficiently to induce shear failure along pre-existing natural fractures. A critical issue in ass...
